Puppy & Follow On Gundog Classes

With 14 years experience in raising and training puppies as pets and competition dogs, Lisa’s course covers what you will need to prevent problems occurring, with a full understanding of your gundog breed’s needs!

Training for puppies begins as early as you like!

‘Perfect Puppy Package’ combines a 1-1 introduction to training sessions as well as the 6 week puppy training course saving £50!

The package enables you to have chance to discuss new puppy issues such as crate training, toilet training, jumping up & biting.

We discuss the genetics of your pet gundog breed, what to expect from them and how to set them up for success from the beginning!

We also look at essential ‘life skills’ such as being able to settle down and have manners around the home, food, children, visitors etc.

You will also be able to take your time to get to grips with training skills in your own time, learn about clicker and reward based training, before the group training classes start.

The 6 week group course gives you the chance to learn handling skills in a safe class environment ready to progress to the outside world, preparing you for “What do I do if…..”.

You will also be able to better understand your gundog breed in relation to their needs and genetic fulfilment, this means that you will be working with your dog’s nature, not fighting against it!

The hardest job that we ask our dogs to do is to fit in with family life and everything that comes with that role; coming when called, walking nicely on the lead, playing appropriately, meeting other people and dogs.
